CODEVERSE 2.0 (24 April 2022)

A coding contest organized especially for first and second year students to get the status and level of competitive coding among the students. Top 3 performers got direct interview opportunities with leads and were recruited in the club.

Placement Talk (13 March 2022)

This seminar was organized to give a glimpse of the industry and ways to crack the interview of your dream company. The speaker in the session was Mr. Sarthak Mittal who is presently working as a SDE at Amazon, India and is an alumnus of National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra.

Weekend With Leads (16 January 2022)

This was a Q&A session for juniors to ask all the queries related to placements and internships. The speakers of this session were the Leads, namely Srishti Ahlawat, Darpan Khanna and Rohan Pradhan. The process of getting internships and placements were discussed as well as how and what to learn according to the needs of market and its scope in future was also discussed.

Game Of Codes (18 December 2021)

It was a quiz competition organized only for first year students just to test the basic knowledge about coding languages and to know the standard so that we can guide them and organize events in future accordingly. The event was sponsored by Coding Ninjas.

Github Workshop (4 December 2021)

This event was organized to teach juniors about open source and how to start contributing in open-source projects and to understand basics of Git and Github. The session was presided by the Development Lead, Aman Bhatt.

CODEVERSE (20 November 2021)

The intention behind this contest was to have a friendly contest in our campus and especially for first year and second year. This event was conducted so that the participants understand the pattern of questions which are asked in coding interviews. come. Cash prizes were also given to the top three performers. They enjoyed it and were able to gain knowledge about Competitive Programming.

Think Big (14 November 2021)

It was a speaker’s session and we organised this event because numerous students were eager to understand research internships at an international level. Through this event, they gained insight on how to get an international internship and what kind of work to expect in such internships

Keyboard Arena (31 October 2021)

It was a typing speed contest for the freshman year in which participants have to type as fast as they could and all of them enjoyed. The winners were provided with paid Udemy Courses.

Introduction to Competitive Programming (10 October 2021)

We organized this program so that the Batch of 2025, get to know more about our community, what kinds of event we organize and what work our chapter does. The outcome was great and many students were interested in joining our chapter.

Code Wars (3 October 2021)

This contest was organised for the newly inducted Batch of 2025 so that we get to know how many out there understand programming and how many need assistance in learning it. This contest also helped them to get the intro of competitive programming and to show them where they stand in the whole college. Top 3 were provided with achievement certificates.

Webinar on Web Development (14 August 2021)

This webinar focuses on the basics of web development and students are taught an approach to get the motor running for their very own self-made web dev projects. All participants were able to learn the basics of Web-Dev

Roadmap to crack internship (8 August 2021)

This seminar was organized to help the students in getting scholarships and internships and to clear all the doubts related to this.

Code Genesis (25 JUNE 2021)

It was a 5-day workshop to teach the students about the basic concepts of Data Structure and Algorithms. All the doubts related to this fields were also cleared.

Code N Conquer (30 Days of Code) (17 March 2021)

This was a month-long challenge to get hands-on different types of questions and to make consistency of coding.

Freshmen.py (15 March 2021)

This workshop was organized to introduce students about Python Language. It includes a full hands-on basic python concept and 3 projects.

Codigo (28 February 2021)

The main motive was to check the theoretical knowledge of the programming concepts. Also to check the accuracy and time in which the contestants solve Multiple Choice Questions about Programming and Scripting Languages

Live Session for Freshers (11 January 2021)

This seminar was organized to give the guidance of how to start programming, language that is necessary to learn according to market and the resources from where they can learn them. It also aimed to give information about how to get the internship abroad. It also aimed to provide information about how to start and practice competitive programming.

Fode De Code (28 October 2020)

It was a coding contest organized to check the environment of coding in the campus and to know about the levels of coding knowledge among students.
